Medical Clinic

We, the church in Cusco, received a team from Willamette Medical teams , and partnered with the Red Cross to make this clinic happen. Everything went better than planned. The Red Cross helped the team bring the medicines into the country, and provided a few volunteers as well. The team came prepared, set up an entire pharmacy and ran everything really smoothly. Our friends from Tacna, Alfredo and Karla, came to help as well.

We were able to see nearly 1,100 people in our small church location in San Marcos. The first day there were only maybe 20 people waiting outside the front door in the morning, but by the last day there was a line of people that went way up the stairs. Many came from very far away, taking transportation for over an hour and many walking for a few hours just to get there and arrived as early as 4AM to get in when the clinic opened at 9.

Here are some photos. I have SO many and will try and add more as I have time. Until then, enjoy the pictures...

Wow! That's a lot of people your clinic cared for. What a blessing you all were to them. I will be looking forward to seeing more pictures, when you get time.
